Does this sound familiar?

  • Bedtime takes over an hour of stalling, curtain calls and “one more story”

  • Your child only falls asleep with you lying next to them

  • A little visitor shows up in your bed at 2am,  every single night

  • Since the move to a big-kid bed, staying in bed feels impossible

  • Fears of the dark or monsters turn bedtime into tears

  • Your evenings, and your relationship, are paying the price

None of this means you've done anything wrong,  big feelings and big opinions are what this age is all about. Picture this instead: a predictable, connected bedtime routine that ends with your child happily falling asleep on their own, and staying in their own bed until morning. Clear, loving boundaries that help your child feel safe and secure. And evenings that belong to you again.

Support, not just a plan

This isn't a plan dropped in your inbox with a good luck message.

However we work together, a single call, four weeks of virtual support, or nights in your home, you get me, genuinely in your corner: adapting, responding, and walking alongside you every step of the way.

I've supported families across the UK and worldwide, and I know that what makes the difference isn't the plan itself.

It's having someone experienced there when the plan needs adjusting, when your child does something unexpected, and when you just need someone calm to tell you you're doing brilliantly.

Working together suits:

  • Families whose evenings have disappeared into hour-long bedtimes

  • Parents with a nightly 2am visitor who are ready for that to change

  • Families who've tried sticker charts and scripts and found they don't stick

  • Anyone who wants to feel genuinely supported, not just sent a document and left to it

My approach

Teaching a child to sleep is a bit like teaching them to swim.

Not this

Throwing your child into the deep end and shouting 'Go!' leaving them to figure it out alone, without support or safety.

this

Getting in beside them. Using floats. Building their confidence bit by bit until they're ready to try on their own. Sleep is the same.

We give child the skills, the support, and the sense of safety they need to find their way there, in a way that feels loving and secure for everyone. What works for a family with school runs and a toddler in the mix looks completely different to a household where both parents work from home. I take the time to understand your life properly before we put anything in place.

THE FOUR FOUNDATIONS

  • 01 · Set the sleep environment, optimise the room, light and sound and take the scary out of the dark.

  • 02 · Build a bedtime routine that works, a predictable, connected routine that helps your child wind down and look forward to sleep.

  • 03 · Set loving boundaries, clear, consistent limits around stalling, night visits and wake-up times, set with warmth, not conflict.

  • 04 · Teach independent sleep, help your child fall asleep and resettle in their own bed, with comfort and reassurance as they learn.

“Children this age are wonderful to work with,  they're old enough to be part of the change, and they feel so proud when bedtime becomes theirs. However we work together, you'll hear from me properly: I read every update, and I adjust the plan as your child responds. This is genuine partnership, not a service you receive once and figure out alone.”

Which level of support is right for us?

If you're facing one specific challenge, start with the one-off call, it's credited toward a full package if you upgrade. If sleep needs a proper reset with daily expert backup, the virtual partnership is the most popular route. If you're too exhausted to make the changes yourself, or simply want it handled in your home, in-person overnight support is for you. Not sure? Book the free discovery call and I'll tell you honestly.

Is my child too old for sleep support?

Not at all. Sleep habits can shift at any age, and children this age often respond quickly once the routine and boundaries are consistent and they're old enough to feel proud of their own progress.

Will there be tears?

Some protest is normal with any change, especially around new boundaries. We keep it gentle by getting the routine and environment right first, and you'll always know exactly how to respond and comfort your child.

What about moving from a cot to a bed?

If your child hasn't made the move yet, we'll talk through the right timing and how to introduce it so it supports better sleep rather than disrupting it. If they've already moved and it hasn't gone smoothly, we rebuild the routine from where you are now.

Can my child still room-share with a sibling?

Yes,  room-sharing with a sibling can work well at this age, and I build the plan around your actual bedroom setup rather than asking you to change it.

My child ends up in our bed every night. Can that really change?

Yes. This is one of the most common things families bring to me at this age, and with consistent, loving boundaries it usually shifts faster than parents expect.

What about fears of the dark or monsters?

Very common at this age. We address it practically, environment, routine and reassurance,  so your child feels genuinely safe, rather than just being told there's nothing to be scared of.

What does ‘daily WhatsApp support’ actually mean in practice?

It means you can message me every day throughout the four weeks and I will respond, properly, not with an auto-reply. If your baby has a hard night, you message me in the morning and I tell you what to adjust. If something isn’t working, we change it. If you’re just struggling and need someone to tell you you’re doing brilliantly, I’m there for that too. I respond within a few hours during the day, and I’ll always let you know if I’m unavailable. My hours are 8am to 10pm

How many calls are included and how long are they?

The calls are unlimited throughout the four weeks. In practice, most families use an initial longer call to go through the plan in detail, and then shorter check-in calls as needed, usually two or three over the course of the month. But if you need more, we have them. There’s no cap.

How is the sleep plan created? Is it the same for every family?

It is completely bespoke. Before I write anything, I want to understand your baby’s temperament, your family’s daily rhythm, your feeding approach, your home setup, and your own values around sleep. The plan I write for a family with a four-month-old and a school-run looks nothing like one for a family with a seven-month-old and two parents working from home. Every plan is built from scratch.

What if the plan isn’t working after the first week?

Then we change it. This is why ongoing support matters more than the plan itself. Babies don’t always respond the way we expect, and rigid plans that can’t flex to a real child in a real family rarely work. If something needs adjusting and sometimes things do, I adjust it. That’s what the daily contact is for.

My partner is sceptical about sleep consultants. Can you help with that?

This comes up often. I’d suggest your partner joins our initial call, most scepticism comes from not knowing what the process actually looks like, and once they hear the approach and have a chance to ask questions, most partners come on board. I’ve never been asked to do anything that doesn’t make complete sense when explained properly.

We’ve tried a sleep consultant before and it didn’t work. Why would this be different?

Usually because the plan wasn’t right for that specific baby and family, or because the support stopped at the plan. I start completely fresh, I don’t assume anything, I don’t apply a template, and I stay with you throughout. If something isn’t working we find out why and we change it.

What happens after the four weeks end?

Most families feel confident and self-sufficient by the end of the month. If you’d like continued support, I offer monthly follow-on care at £199 per month, which you can cancel at any time. Some families use it for a month or two as a safety net; others never need it. There’s no pressure either way.

Do you work with families outside the UK?

Yes. Virtual support works for any family anywhere in the world. I’ve worked with families across Europe, the Middle East, America and beyond. We’ll agree on a communication rhythm that works across time zones.

Emily has been a real life saver.

Emily has been a real life saver. My twin boys’ sleep had got really bad, they were waking up to 11 times a night each and not at the same time. By the end of our two weeks working together they were waking 1-2 times and often at the same time. We are now out of survival mode and life is so different, so much nicer!

Happy Client

Emily has equipped us with the tools to adapt Olivia’s sleep plan as she gets older.

Emily was fantastic from the start, it was very much a two way conversation and personalised to our family. Over the course of the two weeks, Olivia’s sleep progressively improved and she is now consistently sleeping through the night. Emily has equipped us with the tools to adapt Olivia’s sleep plan as she gets older.
