Does this sound familiar?

  • The move from two naps to one has thrown everything off

  • Your toddler stands, cruises or climbs in the cot instead of settling

  • A sleep regression at 12 or 18 months undid a routine that used to work like clockwork

  • Separation anxiety means tears the second you leave the room

  • New words, new skills and new opinions are making bedtime a battle

  • You're still rocking, feeding or holding your toddler to sleep every night

None of this means you've done anything wrong, it's what this age does. Picture this instead: one solid, predictable nap holding steady. A toddler who settles independently in the cot, without a fight. And you, equipped to handle the next regression or milestone without it undoing weeks of progress.

Support, not just a plan

This isn't a plan dropped in your inbox with a good luck message.

However we work together, a single call, four weeks of virtual support, or nights in your home, you get me, genuinely in your corner: adapting, responding, and walking alongside you every step of the way.

I've supported families across the UK and worldwide, and I know that what makes the difference isn't the plan itself.

It's having someone experienced there when the plan needs adjusting, when your toddler does something unexpected, and when you just need someone calm to tell you you're doing brilliantly.

Working together suits:

  • Families in the thick of the 2-to-1 nap transition who want it smoothed, not forced

  • Parents who've tried generic advice and found it doesn't fit their toddler

  • Families juggling work, other children, and real-life complexity

  • Anyone who wants to feel genuinely supported,  not just sent a document and left to it

My approach

Teaching a toddler to sleep is a bit like teaching them to swim.

Not this

Throwing your child into the deep end and shouting 'Go!' leaving them to figure it out alone, without support or safety.

this

Getting in beside them. Using floats. Building their confidence bit by bit until they're ready to try on their own. Sleep is the same.

We give toddlers the skills, the support, and the sense of safety they need to find their way there, in a way that feels loving and secure for everyone. What works for a family with school runs and a toddler in the mix looks completely different to a household where both parents work from home. I take the time to understand your life properly before we put anything in place.

THE FOUR FOUNDATIONS

  • 01 · The sleep environment, optimising room temperature, light and sound so your baby's body is genuinely ready to rest.

  • 02 · A predictable routine, balancing age-appropriate wake windows and daytime feeds so your baby is fed, tired and ready for sleep at the right moments.

  • 03 · Responsive sleep support, teaching your baby to fall asleep independently, with a plan that lets you comfort them whenever they need you.

  • 04 · Consistency, responding the same predictable way each time, so your baby feels secure enough to settle into new habits.

Which level of support is right for us?

If you're facing one specific challenge, start with the one-off call, it's credited toward a full package if you upgrade. If sleep needs a proper reset with daily expert backup, the virtual partnership is the most popular route. If you're too exhausted to make the changes yourself, or simply want it handled in your home, in-person overnight support is for you. Not sure? Book the free discovery call and I'll tell you honestly.

When should we drop to one nap?

Most toddlers transition between 14 and 18 months, though it varies. The real signal isn't age — it's your toddler consistently fighting one of the two naps. We look at your child's actual patterns rather than going by a calendar date.

Will the nap transition wreck bedtime?

It can temporarily, an extra-long day can lead to overtiredness and a harder bedtime for a couple of weeks. That's normal during the adjustment, and part of what we manage together so it settles faster.

Is sleep regression at 12 or 18 months normal?

Completely normal. Regressions at this age are usually linked to walking, talking, teeth or separation anxiety,  not a sign that anything has gone wrong or that previous progress is lost.

My toddler stands up crying in the cot,  what do I do?

This is very common and usually settles once the new skill,  standing, cruising,  becomes less novel and the routine adjusts around it. We work on both the environment and the settling approach so it fades naturally.

Will there be tears?

Some protests are normal at this age,  toddlers have opinions now. We keep it as gentle as possible by getting the routine and environment right first, and you'll always know exactly how to comfort your toddler through it.

Is my toddler too young for a proper routine?

Not at all. 12 to 24 months is exactly when a predictable rhythm makes the biggest difference, your toddler is old enough to recognise routine, but still needs your consistency to feel secure.

What does ‘daily WhatsApp support’ actually mean in practice?

It means you can message me every day throughout the four weeks and I will respond, properly, not with an auto-reply. If your baby has a hard night, you message me in the morning and I tell you what to adjust. If something isn’t working, we change it. If you’re just struggling and need someone to tell you you’re doing brilliantly, I’m there for that too. I respond within a few hours during the day, and I’ll always let you know if I’m unavailable. My hours are 8am to 10pm

How many calls are included and how long are they?

The calls are unlimited throughout the four weeks. In practice, most families use an initial longer call to go through the plan in detail, and then shorter check-in calls as needed, usually two or three over the course of the month. But if you need more, we have them. There’s no cap.

How is the sleep plan created? Is it the same for every family?

It is completely bespoke. Before I write anything, I want to understand your baby’s temperament, your family’s daily rhythm, your feeding approach, your home setup, and your own values around sleep. The plan I write for a family with a four-month-old and a school-run looks nothing like one for a family with a seven-month-old and two parents working from home. Every plan is built from scratch.

What if the plan isn’t working after the first week?

Then we change it. This is why ongoing support matters more than the plan itself. Babies don’t always respond the way we expect, and rigid plans that can’t flex to a real child in a real family rarely work. If something needs adjusting and sometimes things do, I adjust it. That’s what the daily contact is for.

My partner is sceptical about sleep consultants. Can you help with that?

This comes up often. I’d suggest your partner joins our initial call, most scepticism comes from not knowing what the process actually looks like, and once they hear the approach and have a chance to ask questions, most partners come on board. I’ve never been asked to do anything that doesn’t make complete sense when explained properly.

We’ve tried a sleep consultant before and it didn’t work. Why would this be different?

Usually because the plan wasn’t right for that specific baby and family, or because the support stopped at the plan. I start completely fresh, I don’t assume anything, I don’t apply a template, and I stay with you throughout. If something isn’t working we find out why and we change it.

What happens after the four weeks end?

Most families feel confident and self-sufficient by the end of the month. If you’d like continued support, I offer monthly follow-on care at £199 per month, which you can cancel at any time. Some families use it for a month or two as a safety net; others never need it. There’s no pressure either way.

Do you work with families outside the UK?

Yes. Virtual support works for any family anywhere in the world. I’ve worked with families across Europe, the Middle East, America and beyond. We’ll agree on a communication rhythm that works across time zones.

Emily has been a real life saver.

Emily has been a real life saver. My twin boys’ sleep had got really bad, they were waking up to 11 times a night each and not at the same time. By the end of our two weeks working together they were waking 1-2 times and often at the same time. We are now out of survival mode and life is so different, so much nicer!

Emily has equipped us with the tools to adapt Olivia’s sleep plan as she gets older.

Emily was fantastic from the start, it was very much a two way conversation and personalised to our family. Over the course of the two weeks, Olivia’s sleep progressively improved and she is now consistently sleeping through the night. Emily has equipped us with the tools to adapt Olivia’s sleep plan as she gets older.
